Wind and Updraft Vertical Axis Wind Generator

A new idea in wind generation. This is a prototype generator; (patent pending) invented by the president of BRI Energy Solutions. It has been developed to be mounted on a chimney or smoke stack. The idea is to take advantage of the prevailing winds and the wind created by the emissions updraft. This video is of the smaller unit, it will mainly use prevailing winds to drive it, and the larger units will mount on factory stacks use the prevailing and the updraft winds. The small unit could also be mounted on communications towers as the communications wires could be run through a stationary hollow pipe and have no tangles. The small units also could be used in many other applications. Their patent basically covers a generator with the hole through the center with the blades mounted directly to the generator housing, integrating the turbine and generator.
