Inventor Toby Kinkaid describes the HelyxTM wind technology en route to the Navajo Nation where permission was given for the first high-speed test of the HelyxTM in the lake flats of the Navajo Nation, 2003. Tests were successful with data loggers measuring load voltage and current, and wind speed demonstrating power production in a wide range of wind speeds. Special thanks to people of the Navajo Nation for allowing use of their lands for high-speed tests using a modified Toyota Supra.
