This is my second video of my pulse motor.nIt is simply being pulsed by a single coil at 12V using a reed switch and relay to time the pulses - 4 pulses per revolution.nI am using very small neo (rare earth) magnets that are stuck around the cd flywheel. nI have added a small light to see the pulses and a diode to protect the transformer that delivers 12V from receiving the back EMF. I have already fried a transformer because of this.nWhat is the best way to catch the back emf? Obviously some sort of rectifier... Any advice would be much appreciated!
