solar powered tesla coil

This Tesla coil is powered by the sun. The solar panel provides the source of DC current. It then is converted through an induction coil sending the high frequency/high voltage current through a tank circuit that powers up a Tesla sending coil.nnThis Tesla system was built to explore the use of the Sun's solar radiant energy as a source of usable sending power.
